College athletics are the best because for its perticipants it not about the money are the glory its about the hunger to compete and get to that next level. I feel that way because college athletes are just a step away from thee dream of being a pro athlete. Also its a chance to compete against friends and other talented athlets with the support of almost an entire city. Now college basketball was on a down fall a little bit because of the recent explosion of high school baller making the jump straight to the NBA. I say that because alot of the markey players that would have been cornerstones in a college teams success werent going to college leaving gapping wholes in college rosters. Now in a way i kinda felt that it made college basketball more competive because the big time schools that were use to getting the those big showstopping players werent getting them and the mid major schools were building solid programs which is the reason u saw alot of upsets. But thats something that made college athletics even more interesting. But colleg football is alot different. But one thing that made college football interesting the fact that every few years the powers change. Like for many years the top school was florida state then came aloong miami and back many years ago teams like michigan dominated. But thats because all it 2 takes is to really good seasons and thenschool begin to get any player in the country. For example right USC( university of southern california) is dominating football because there roster is so deep that they have highschool all americans come there and sit behind other all ameriacans for years. but it all started with two winngin seasons that no one thought they would have and then every recruit begin thinking they were the missing piece that would give USC a championship and with the recent success of UF(university of florida) you can see the that begining to happen there and that makes college football interesting because you never kno who is gonna be good and or for how long.
